Wasser für 450 Kinder und ein Maasai-Dorf
In einer lokalen Maasai-Schule im Dorf Kipambi, Loliondo, wurden zwei Wasser-tanks und Regenrinnensysteme installiert.
Dadurch erhalten Lehrer und über 450 Kinder sauberes und zuverlässiges Regenwas-ser. Zuvor war die Schule auf unsichere Wasserquellen angewiesen, die sie sich mit Wildtieren und Nutztieren teilten.
Die Region um Kipambi leidet jährlich bis zu fünf Monate unter Dürre und der Zugang zu Wasser ist aufgrund des Fehlens von Flüssen in der Nähe extrem schwierig.
Darüber hinaus wurde im Dorf Sukenya ein Wassertank mit Regenrinnensystem installiert, sodass diese Menschen nun von zu Hause sicher Zugang zu saube-rem Wasser haben.
Diese Projekte haben die Gesundheit, die Hygiene und den Alltag sowohl der Schulgemeinschaft als auch der Familien im Dorf deutlich verbessert.

27.4.2026: The community and even the government are very happy and thankful.
Two more schools tea-chers came to me after this project asking for water harvesting tanks.
Two water tanks and gutter systems were in-stalled at a local Maasai school in Kipambi vil-lage, Loliondo, providing clean and reliable rainwater to teachers and over *450* child-ren. Previously, the school depended on un-safe water sources shared with wild animals and livestock.
Kipambi area faces drought for up to five months each year, and access o water is ext-remely difficult due to the lack of nearby run-ning rivers.
In addition – one water tank and gut-ter system were installed for familys in Sukenya village, giving them safe access to clean water at home.
These projects have significantly im-proved health, hygiene, and daily life for both the school community and the family.
